Gender and Women's Studies

The undergraduate program in Gender and Women's Studies is designed to introduce students to gender as a category of analysis and the workings of power in social and historical life. The department offers a multi-disciplinary study of feminist theory, feminism in a transnational world, the politics of representation, gender and health, and the politics of childhood.
