Political Economy

The interdisciplinary major in Political Economy examines the relationship between politics and economics in modern societies, focusing special attention on problems of domestic and international policy. Although there is a strong historical perspective to the major, contemporary problems form its central focus. Students create their own concentrations around a theme or geographical region.
